The CSIG Team is delighted to announce that the Irish Coast Guard are using our charts to improve their search and rescue capabilities on Lough Ree. Over the past couple of weeks, they have used the charts twice in their endeavours.
Derek Flanagan, Divisional Controller at MRSC Malin Head, stated “feedback from my staff has been very positive, we all like using your charting system”
Carmel Meegan, President of the Inland Waterways Association, said “Good news indeed that the CSIG charts are being recognised and used by the Coast Guard. Well done to everyone involved”
The CSIG plan to continue to collaborate with the Coast Guard in the coming months and they hope to help us with feedback and improvements to the charts.
